PERSONA NON GRATA
A liberation story based on true events, inspired by a real heroine: Nicola Werdenigg.
After the unexpected death of her husband, a long-forgotten trauma revives in ski racer Andrea (Gerti Drassl). Her neighbor takes advantage of Andrea's vulnerability and abuses her. When she reports the crime to the police, she is told that the prospects of being charged are not good. Memories of her time as a teenager in a ski club come back to life. Andrea was also raped at the time, but it was clear to her that the ÖSV would protect the perpetrator at all costs. But now she no longer wants to remain silent. Andrea makes her story public and sparks a storm of resistance.
In Austrian cinemas from January 26th.
